Empowering Young Parents: Building Healthy Relationships

is a study designed to determine the impact of a healthy relationships program on sexual health and relationship outcomes for pregnant and parenting youth.

About the Study

The Empowering Young Parents study is a study conducted by RTI International to test a program to support healthy romantic relationships for young parents. The program is called Safe Dates for Young Parents. Participants enrolled in the study have an equal chance of participating in the program or not. All participants in the study will complete three surveys to help us learn more about how the program might be changing knowledge, attitudes and behaviors.

Who is Involved?

Empowering Young Parents is led by researchers from RTI, International in partnership with community based organizations and non-profit agencies in Georgia, Michigan, and North Carolina.
